A user joined a list last year.  Their userid is of the form abc/def@fqdn
When I try to remove the user from the list, LISTSERV says
 
* Invalid option - "def@fqdn". The valid options are GLobal, LOCal and TEST
* (minimum abbreviations shown in upper case).
 
How can I remove a user of this form?
