I think the answer is implicit in what I wrote...it DOES NOT work on
1.8c base release servers.  If your server is running a 1.8d beta, it's
a different story.  Ask your LISTSERV maintainer if you're not sure which
version you're running (they both report as 1.8c currently).  Bottom line,
the .HH stuff is beta functionality and if you're not running the beta,
you don't have it.
