Perhaps it is clearer now. The program that extracts keyword/value pairs
from the list header does not know anything about the meaning of the
keywords; if you want, you can put "Sxjkdsf= EWREWREWW" in the list
header, and it will happily record that there is a keyword called SXJKDSF
for this list whose value is EWREWREWW. The comma has a special meaning
for the EDITOR keyword, such that it does not make much sense to have a
comma followed by a blank, but the list header processor does not know
about that. It finds a blank and happily records the end of the EDITOR
keyword, and anything that follows this blank is a comment, until the
next keyword. If you want to "continue" a keyword, you have to specify
its name multiple times:
* Editor= HARRISON@RPIECS,STEPHEN@RPIECS
* Editor= COMSPRT3@RPIECS
