Greetings folks.
After many years, we are closing a popular & talkative list for postings but still
allowing the archives (from 2002-2017) to remain online for an unspecified
amount of time. Am moving everyone to a new listserv, new name, new mission.
Annually, I grab the archives, toss 'em into an excel spreadsheet, add a couple
Fields for categories, sort and generate trends & other reports for the Committee.
In the next few years I'd like to turn the archives over to the Committee in a
searchable database format that they can curate & search from their website.
Sure, a quick excel-to-sharepoint load works, but most of the folks cannot access
Our sharepoint site (behind a firewall).
Does anyone have suggestions for plopping 15 years of archives into a database?
No rush. Muse on it.
Thanks in advance. Cheers.
