Yes, at each LISTSERV site, send a command
 
SET * NOMAIL
 
Make sure you do this a couple of days before you leave
since: 1) some LISTSERV might be setup to CONFIRM your
intention ("magic cookie"), 2) LISTSERV's positive
acknowledgement does NOT prevent the distribution of
in-progress messages, 3) you might have made a mistake.
