The &WHO and $INVOKER do not appear to be defined for the TOP_BANNER
and BOTTOM_BANNER. I have not tried $MBX alone, but since
&WHO/&INVOKER are not defined, when paired with them it returns
nothing. A subscriber has pointed out that the mail originator ("real"
from:) is not identifiable when the message is received (a problem with
some of the receivers' mail packages, not listserv). Is it possible to
embed, as a minimum the sender's email address and better, the "name"
from the signup file in the TOP_BANNER or by other means in the body.
running: listerv 1.8b under VM/CMS ESA
Second question: When listserv sends mail to multiple addresses at a
single node (through internet, not bitnet) does it send multiple
messages or a single message with multiple recipients. Have some
bouncing mail with no listing of who the problem id is and can't see it
in the attached problem message.
Thanks.
