Does anyone know how to stop MS Exchange adding in > characters when
forwarding or replying to incoming messages?

As a list owner, I am often asked to confirm commands and I sometimes
want to initiate commands using (a modified version of) a template in a
message I sent some time previously.

Whenever I do so, Listserv objects, claiming that, for example, > ADD
... is an invalid command. (That's right, the > came from Exchange).

Not insuperable, but frustrating.
