Hi. I have gatewayed MLA-L to USENET without difficulty. Several
individuals preferred or had to access the list in that way.
No appreciable difference in the volume or character of correspondence
was noticed. It seems like if a list is not amenable to
undergraduate debate or ethnic venom, you are probably safe from
masses.
