(a) The host inst.augie.edu either was unavailable to or through
    the "network" or it did not have its SMTP (properly) started
 
and/or
 
(b) The two domain names servers were not available, one of which
    is on the same host as the destination and the other at ns.unl.edu
 
As far as your RENEWAL= is concerned, I don't see any in your list
headers.  I don't know the side effects if you had one once and
have now removed it (and CONFIRM/deletion is pending).
