BTW in case there are still people out there running 1.8d betas (build
date prior to late February 1999--you see the build date by issuing the
SHOW LICENSE command), there is no guarantee that the beta you are running
is fully Y2K compliant.  The only 1.8d builds that are known to be Y2K
compliant are the release builds, late February 1999 and later.  I say
"late February" because depending on the platform the build date for the
release build may be 26 Feb 1999 or later.

So if you're still running a 1.8d beta, you also need to upgrade to the
release build.
