Right. If  I ever were to  write a mailer, you  could be sure that  any user
sending a piece  of mail with nodeless addresses would  either get a nastygram
back or would see his address expanded  (which would mean that the field would
have to be rebuilt and might not be indented exactly as it was before). I find
it criminal to let this kind of stuff out into the network :-)
