I think the problem may be that Word files aren't really MIME/APPL files
or that they may have some weird formatting internally that tells LISTSERV
to truncate the file before it's done reading it.  One thing you can do
is zip the file; that works fine with f=mime/appl.  The other thing you
can do is tell people to FTP it from our site :)  Otherwise about all I
can say is that we'll look into it.

BTW I just tried a GET of a PDF with f=mime/appl and it worked fine, so I'm
not sure what the problem was with whoever was asking about that.
