I received this error in the mail today (the second of such errors), and for
the life of me I can not figure out what is wrong. I do not see where
LISTSERV sees a "Sender:", "From:" or "Reply-To:" field pointing to the list
in the body of the mail. Most of my subscribers are set to Dual Header
(including this one) and as far as I can tell the "---Info from the mail
header---" is the only "Sender:" I see.
Can the problem have to do with this person's email address or possible the
signature lines? Please email me directly, I'm on DIGEST.

Hi Birdie Lovers:
Since Rebecca and the Birdie Bunch mentioned that there were a lot of
young greys on the list, I feel it's time to "come out". My CAG, Keena,
just celebrated her 4th hatch day, and she is the love of my life (when my
SO is not within hearing distance!). Keena's name originated from the fact
that she's from Africa, and that "In Living Color" was a popular TV show
when we first got her. Keena is a shortened version of the actor's name,
Keenan Ivory Wayans. We gave her a female name because the breeder assured
us she was a she. However, the vet strongly feels that because she has no
grey arcs on the bottom of her tail, she is most probably a he. She'll
always be my little girl, though, no matter what he says.
Keena trembles also, and I've never figured out why. I just hold her close
and whisper ssssssshhhhhhh, it's okay in her ear, and she quits it.
I envy those of you out there that can kiss the bellies or toes. She MAY
let me do it if she's in one of her good moods, but she definitely has a
tendency to nip a little more often than I like. I got a little too
kissy-face with her one night, and she almost took a chunk out of my lip.
She'd been alone for several hours, and I know now that she needs time to
warm up to you. I cannot clip wings or toenails. But when she's in a good
mood I can touch pretty much anything.
Keena hates to be misted, but loves to cling desperately to my arm while
she throws water up from a running faucet. I get wetter than she does!
And she'll nip me if I try to dribble some of the water down her back.
Maybe if I'd misted her when she was young like Ivy, Keena might have
gotten used to or even liked it.
Keena also acts like Dodger a lot when she can't see us. She'll be in her
cage and just keep repeating a phrase over and over, getting louder and
louder until we come get her. A more irritating habit is the screeching,
or what we call screeching. She has about three or four high-pitched, very
unpleasant noises that she makes when she's unhappy or wants something.
After we say no a few times, she then begins reciting our admonishments:
No screeching, quit screeching, Keena's a bad bird, stop being a bad bird.
We figure she's has close to a 300 word vocabulary. She was at the bird
sitter on Thanksgiving, and the sitter's husband kept walking past Keena to
go to the bathroom. The bird sitter said that after the fifth time, Keena
blurted out "what's your problem?". Since then the bird sitter calls me to
see when she can keep Keena, because she can't wait to hear what she says
next.
I love this list and all the wonderful stories about our birdie friends,
and I look forward to reading them every day.
