Pete, I think you misunderstood the question. If I read it correctly,  
Miachael wants to trap commands such as "subscribe" that are sent to  
the list's subscribers. Fortunately, most of those commands are  
already trapped by LISTSERV unless that feature is disabled on  
Michael's list.
