We have just installed 1.8d and the wa interface. We discovered today that
bulk ADD operations performed from a Macintosh do not work correctly. The
same operations do work from Windows machines. We have tried it on 3
different Macs so far. Each Mac has the latest version of Netscape
Navigator and Internet Explorer. What seems to be happening is the
end-of-line character isn't being recognized. The first address in the
upload file gets added but the second address (which is on a new line in
the file) is appended to the first address.

We did a bulk add from Netscape on a Mac, using a text file created on that
Mac looking like this:

[log in to unmask] Mona Coach
[log in to unmask] Adrienne Craig
[log in to unmask] Keyuna Evans
[log in to unmask] Ryan Robinson

The response was:

ADD: no error, one recipient added, no entry changed, no duplicate, none
forwarded.

A review of the list showed this:

[log in to unmask] Mona Coach [log in to unmask] Adrienne Craig
[log in to unmask] Key

* Total number of local host users on the list: 0

We then tried opening the file with BBedit, replacing the end-of-line
characters with DOS end-of-line characters, re-saving the file, and
repeating the bulk add operation on the web form. This time we got the
expected results, 4 subscribers added. Has anyone else had this problem on
a Mac? Is there a solution?
