Error 1450, Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested
service.  (ERROR_NO_SYSTEM_RESOURCES)

This might indicate out of memory or out of paging space.

The Error 8 just means out of memory also. Was there anything in the NT
event log?

We are currently operating the listserv service on one of our servers, in
the last 48 hours the service has failed twice with the following errors:

the service has run for some time quite stably and has only just started to
fail...

any suggestions would be much appreciated!
