It is definitely true that there has been much cross-posting of late. However,
in the case of the demise of WISCVM and its replacements, this is information
that is of utmost importance to everyone, and we have to make sure that
everyone sees it. There is no one list which includes all the necessary
people, although their clearly should be. Unfortunately, the BIRREP, INFOREP
and TECHREP lists often to not reach the correct people and their recipients
do not forward it to the people who should see it.
 
Perhaps BITNIC needs to mount an agressive subscription campaign for BITNEWS.
