A help desk ticket was referred to me this afternoon involving Listserv. The
problem is that Listserv has associated an incorrect name for a particular
list owner's email address. I assume I need to ask the user to re-register
his email address on Listserv. Right?

What I would like to know is if there is any way I can issue a command to
scan Listserv's sign up files for a given address to see what information has
been recorded for a given email address.

For example, I can use the scan command to query a specific list for a
given address or portion of an address. Is there a similar utility for
signup files on Listserv?

Also, as a value added service, it would be nice if I could re-register this
subscriber's email address for him, rather than asking him to do so. Is that
type of thing possible?

Yes, I am the Listserv postmaster.

Thanks,

Stan
