I'll admit I never went beyond that screen.  But doesn't that seem like 
incorrect behavior?  Shouldn't your template settings be reflected in 
the appropriate fields on each screen?  Also, since you are specifying 
the Archive/Notebook settings in the template, why even take you to the 
archive screen anyway?
