XMAS EXEC Virus(?) Distributed 12/26/93

A small number of users received the XMAS EXEC over the vacation as
part of a LISTSERV DISTRIBUTE.  We agree emphatically with Marty Hoag
who advocated that all lists be maintained with FILES= NO.  We tried
to prepare for this common virus(?) using RSCS security mods, but were
unsuccessful.
 
Has anyone developed a way to prevent certain files from being delivered
this way?
