Adding massive numbers of files to a list's catalog

A list which I just moved from Majordomo to our LISTSERV installation (the
HP-UX version) came with some 470 Majordomo logs -- each of which needs to be
available to the list membership.
 
If anyone has any suggestions for an efficient means of doing this (aside
from making them available via FTP, this is not presently an option) I'd
appreciate the guidance.
