I am one of the founders of a network of students from Mozam-
bique (East Africa). The list was started in 1992 and at present
there are about 80 people, mostly Mozambicans studying in the US,
but also professionals in several organizations and countries. The
list is open to anyone who is interested in Mozambique, Southern
Africa, or Africa in general, and aims at disseminating news and
serve as a discussion forum (mainly development and education issues).
Since the number of people makes it difficult to continue to
work "manually", I approached the computer center at my University
(Louisiana State University, where we are 9 Mozambicans and about
130 Africans) to set up a list-serve. Due to logistical problems,
they said it was not possible (LSU is not a main node), but gave me
your address to seek help.
I look forward to your answer to this query. Yours sincerely,
Rui Silva
