Well my suggestion could certainly be used for headers, but then all
mailers would need to know how to deal with it (not a small job).
As far as I understand RFC822 tokens (which include quoted strings) can't
be folded.  The big problem that UUCP causes is that '!' is considered
an ordinary character as far as RFC822 is concerned, so that it isn't
a possible point for breaking.  As long as we are stuck with punch files
of max length 80 (since it seems to be impossible to get everybody to
accept netdata -- even in IBM, I still get messages with a comment like
"Please don't send NETDATA, I can't handle it"), we need some sort of
rational convention for handling lines of length > 80.
