Listserv is not an MTA.  What MTA software (sendmail, etc) are you running on
the Listserv box (or whatever box you've told Listserv to use as an MTA)?

(Must be some seriously whacked-out software - RFC1425 (which specified
how EHLO works) dates back to February 1993....)
