Nowhere does it say that peer lists have to have the same name.  Your
list MD49 could be linked to RELAY-L at Widget University.  No problem.
Entry in his RELAY-L list which says
     MD49@CMUCCVMA  Peer Distribution
and one in your MD49 list which says
     RELAY-L@WIDGET Peer Distribution
 
As to the name problem, All of your users will have to know that MD49 is
really RELAY-L.  They can all create nicknames (in their USERID NAMES file)
which assigns the nickname RELAY-L to [log in to unmask]
 
Anyone else out there have any other ideas?
