Eric - the topic addition sounds like a great idea.  What sort of
restrictions are there on the "topic" tokens?  Ie. one word or more?  What
characters can be used (or not)?  From your example I assume the topic(s)
list tokens are separated by a comma and the topic list is terminated with
a colon.  Eg.  Subject: topic1,topic2,...: rest of subject  .  Is that right?
