Well folks, it has happened....
 
LISTSERV@BITNIC has been in a loop with a real idiot server for 3-4 days.  At
this time, it seems to be ok, but the effects on the EARNET link are still
being felt (210 files queued at BITNIC end).
 
This was your basic head-to-head (tet-a-tet Eric?) but with files.  I don't
know who started it, but i suspect that the jerky server (RPLSCI@TECHNION)
must have gotten on a LISTSERV list somehow.  When it got the file from
LISTSERV, it decided to answer with a file.  LISTSERV must have answered with
a file, and so on and so on ... maybe even some messages thrown in for good
luck!
