Do you have the web interface active? If so, click Server Management which will let you then select Create New List. The web interface is straightforward to use by selecting pull down menus for the type of list you want to create.

If not, then a list header would/could look like this :



Subscription= Open,Confirm
.HH ON
Validate= Yes,Confirm
Review= Owners
Send= Editor
Reply-To= Sender,Ignore
Sender= None
Errors-To= Owner
Auto-Delete= Yes,Full-Auto,Probe(10)
Notebook= No
Owner= [log in to unmask]
Editor= [log in to unmask]

Hello team,

If I want to create a list that is announcement only, how do i setup a
'Send' field for this list?

I will be the owner of the list and I do not want to allow any of the
recipients of the announcement be able to post to the list.
