How about setting
 
* Reply-To= Sender,Respect
 
?
 
That will ensure that replies to list mail default to the original
sender, not back to the list; and if the original sender specifies
a Reply-To: address in his header, the list "respects" that Reply-To:
address and overrides the default.
 
Although it sounds like that list has more problems than I'd care
to deal with, what with multiple editors being USENET daemons...:)
