I am one of the listowners of UUS-L@UBVM and have been one for most of
a year now.  Recently, the listserv started processing subscription
renewals and we lost over 100 subscriptions in a week or so.  This
doesn't bother me at all, but I am curious as to how this process is
controlled.  I did nothing to start it and it appears to be doing
renewals about once/month now.
 
Can someone explain how the renewal system is controlled and how often
it processes?
