Well, this  shows that you can  beta test all you  want, 24 participating
sites and all that,  and you're still bound to find  a serious problem in
the released code.  I have a fix  for that which has  been tested between
here and  UGA. I  await Valdis's report  on whether or  not it  fixes the
problem he experienced with his local list (Valdis, I mean FIX17F*2*). If
everything is  ok I will  distribute the fix  tomorrow due to  the impact
this problem  can have  on the  network (anything  I make  available from
LISTSERV@SEARN gets installed,  in the best case and  allowing 2-3 weeks,
by 25% of the sites).
