Ok, I think I have the web interface *mostly* correct.  Listserv is
autogenerating the index.html file, with the 2 directories I have
listed.  When I click on one of the lists to view archives for, it
correctly generates the list of archives (listname.html).

However, when I try to actually look at an archive, I get the message:

 Error - cannot access archive filess
 The archive files could not be accessed, probably because they are being
 updated. Please try again in about 30 seconds, and report the problem if
 persists for more than a few minutes. The file that could not be opened
 'archives/listname/listname.ind9702a' and the error code was 22


What am I missing or doing wrong?



For references sake, here's the pertantent settings:
  URL:  http://listserv.tamu.edu/archvies/

directories:
   archive dir:  /archives
      each list has a dir under /archives
   web root:     /www/docs
   web archives: /www/docs/archives
      (I did a "ln -s /archives/listname/ listname" so that the list
       directories would appear to be in the Web directory)
   CGI directory:    /www/docs/cgi
      /www/docs/cgi/wa  has world wr permissions
   Listserv's root:  /export/home/listserv

in the go.user file:
   # added to stop the reverse indexing of the archives - for now
   DBRINDEX=0
   # added 2/4/97 to enable the WWW access to the archives
   WWW_ARCHIVE_CGI='/cgi/wa'
   WWW_ARCHIVE_DIR=/www/docs/archives
