It will probably work just fine if you do nothing.  If you really want to be
100% certain you should download the latest Solaris install kit

(2 files needed: solaris.tar.Z and common.tar.Z)

from our FTP site (ftp.lsoft.com/listserv/unix)

and re-compile/link under 2.8 just to be completely safe.
