I got this from the TAURUS daemon after mailing to EARNTECH. Geez, and
LISTSERV is supposed to handle that without crashing (it does, it does, but
at times I'm surprised it does not choke on that kind of things; please note
the eric@ERIC@FRECP11 userid and the missing "reasons for not delivering")

PS: There was a blank between the "To:" line and the "You must use the
(NOSPOOL" in the original copy I sent of course. It's the gateway that
moved it.

You must use the (NOSPOOL and tag the file yourself, for example:
DMSDDL SEND PROFILE EXEC A1 TO userid AT node (NOSPOOL NOACK NOLOG NOTYPE
CP TAG DEV D node userid 55 W=userid
CP SPOOL D TO RSCS
CP CLOSE D NAME PROFILE EXEC
