My first action after taking over an up-and-running LISTSERV, was to try to
create a new list.  LISTSERV replied

"You are not allowed to create new lists.
(note - the request originated from [log in to unmask])"


But:

"> show version
LISTSERV(R) for unix version 1.8d, managed by:
[log in to unmask]"



What do I do to get authorized?  Systems operations says, "I dunno."
