Here, here!  Combine the distribution lists, weed out duplicates, and ship
it as one big distribute.  But...
 
You need some mechanism to inform LISTSERV of this.  If you simply mail a
posting to multiple lists, you get multiple copies in the LISTSERV mailboxes
for the list(s), probably at different times.  Perhaps something like a
tag 'X-Lsv-include:'.  It would only work when the different lists were at
the same host site.  A little complicated, but possible.
