Ben,
I reran Chkdsk. I had to reboot the server to run it in the "fix" mode (chkdsk /f). It now reports NO
errors. BUT I STILL GET THE SAME ERROR. i.e.
"An error occurred while logging mail to the archives of the OPMWEB list. An
incomplete copy of the message might be present in the archive file. The
list is being held to prevent further occurrences of this error. Please take
corrective action and issue a "FREE OPMWEB" command when you want the
message to be reprocessed.
Serious error occurred - traceback follows
------------------------------------------
>>> Error X'00000011' opening file C:\LISTSERV\LISTS\OPMWEB\OPMWEB.SUBJECTS <<<
-> Severity: Warning
-> Facility: Generic error codes
-> Abstract: File/major entity not found
-> I/O mode: Record write"
There IS a C:\LISTSERV\LISTS\OPMWEB\ directory. There is no OPMWEB.SUBJECTS FILE.
Just in case it will help, I am including the LIST header:

Then did you run CHKDSK again to repair them??? Obviously there is some kind of
physical disk problem or CHKDSK would not have reported this.
