This is almost certainly a Sendmail/DNS issue that just happens to be
triggered by Listserv.

Are you running any firewalling rulesets on the box? I'm wondering about
the fact that mail that works will report 'relay=bkuo@localhost' (so the
connection has bound to 127.0.0.1), but when Sendmail connects, it shows
up as 'relay=davenport0 [192.168.0.200]'. It's possible that you have a
packet filter that's Doing The Wrong Thing with packets from 192.168 space
and that causes your DNS requests to go bad.

Since connections to 'localhost' work, putting this in your go.user:

SMTP_FORWARD="localhost"

may help things - Listserv will then connect to 127.0.0.1 and the DNS
may start working better. It's *NOT* a fix, but will at least maybe get
things to work while you address the real issues....
