No.  This is presently the only way.  Note that user options settings (e.g.
digest) are also lost when doing this.

DELETE listname user@oldaddress
ADD listname user@newaddress User Name

Some people issue help files that make the user format the command for you.

Or have people UNSUB themselves, and resub from new address then you issue
just new command.
