OK, then check your sendmail logs to see if it is refusing to accept
mail from the local host.  LISTSERV tries to hand the mail off to sendmail
for delivery but if it can't do that, the mail stays in LISTSERV's spool.
(There really ought to be something in the LISTSERV log to this effect
if sendmail is refusing to accept the mail.)
