Well it needs to send out a welcome message to each of those individuals
(100,000 messages).  That's probably what's eating up your CPU.

PS:  Is there a way to access the ListServ system log files via email?

The SUN box is maxed out, (E3000)

Have I screwed it up ? It seems to be too busy to respond right now.

Was the method I used the best one, or should I have used the ADD WITHOUT
KILLING LISTSERV command ?
