Just catching up on email, but you'll probably hit a similar limits with
Socious. I'm not knocking Socious. I use it regularly as part of a group I
support, and I'm part of the team that recommended that it be adopted, and I
have no regrets in that recommendation. However, we've had to curtail our
archives stored in Socious due volume at levels I would not consider
excessive.

I also find the "discussion" lists on Socious a little less user friendly,
and much less robust in terms of options for creating the lists.

I'm not an administrator, but based on what I've seen, there is
more work load on the Socious Admin than a Listserv Admin. I'm also found
L-Soft team able to respond more quickly to major issues, such as the DMark
problem. Again, not knocking Socious, but to me, L-Soft has set a standard
that most vendors have a difficult time living up to. Your milage may vary.
