I created a package with a combination of executeable (.EXE) files and plain
old text files. The package was successfully LSVPUT on LISTSERV's minidisk.
When we GET the package, the EXE file has been changed (specifically 3 bytes
shorter) and cannot be run when we download it.

I'm confused since I've put EXE files out there and successfully received,
downloaded and run them on the PC (under an earlier version of LISTERV).

Has anyone had similar experiences or perhaps shed some light on what to
look at more closely?

You're probably looking at my header and noticing that we run PROFS/PUMP.
Those of you who also run PROFS may know that OFSRDR MODULE can be called,
which allows you to "Store" a file. The question buzzing around my brain
is whether STORE, like RECEIVE, looks at the format (NETDATA or CARD) and
issues the proper call or if it only issues the READCARD.

Any ideas folks? Thanks in advance.
