You'll need to browbeat the administrator of WPO.IUPUI.EDU and
get them to turn off the automatic read reciept feature in the
WPO configuration file. It's rude for outside mail in any case,
and undependable at best.
 
Grr. This kind of misfeature is what annoys me most about
"desktop" mail packages.
