I hate asking stupid questions like this but HERE GOES.
 
I just got ListServ going and until I have the money (or even know the
cost for that matter) of ListServR for Linux I will be running my server
in the demo or free mode.  I do intend for this to be a permanent server
but it may take 3-4 months before I get the money to get a true license.
 
So my base question, is it a good idea to register my server with the
backbones, etc. so I have the lists global and distribute and what not and
the availibility of people to subscribe to the lists I have via the main
listserv exchange server?
