I want to close a discussion list but keep the list enough alive to send a
friendly message telling new subscribers and people who send postings to it,
why it was closed and possibly point them to another list. The MAILFORM
paragraph 'request to join' works fine for new subscriptions, but is there
something similar for postings to a list? How does anyone else handle
closing a list?
