I just witnessed a bit of (what I consider) strange behavior from
LISTSERV at Finhutc.  I tried to join two discussion lists there and
got two answers.  One was that I was added to the list (PSCRIPT), and
one was that I was out of the Listserv's service area (PROLOG) and
that my request was denied.
 
    Can someone explain this to me?
