I remember reading something somewhere about possibility of problems
signing off of a discussion list (among other things) when a site starts
using Internet addressing, when users there had signed up in the past
when the site still used BITNET addressing.
 
What I remember was that there was a nice, correct solution for this
problem.
Could someone either point me at the relevant documentation or tell me
how to solve this?  Or point me at the relevant discussion list?
And what the other problematic situations (if any) are?
 
As Node Admin I believe I should (already) know this, so if I'm "flamed",
I can only answer with "Sorry, but there's *so* much to remember..."
(which of course is no excuse  :-)  ).
