This doesn't involve sendmail.  Check your MAIL CLIENT to see if it
wraps lines longer than, say, 70 columns, when you send mail.  Most
clients have a setting to turn off line wrap.

If you can't turn off line wrap see 4.1.1 of the list owner's manual
for an alternative syntax for long lines.

As always, seeing the exact error you get when trying to add would also
be helpful in trying to help you diagnose what's happening.
