The role of 'content supervisor' should be assigned to the list moderator(s).
Who but the list owner should be responsible for dealing with the Daily Error
Monitoring Report and other routine administrivia? Surely, that task should
not be pushed back up to the site administrator.

Our list policy document <http://listserv.nd.edu/policies.html> defines
the responsibilities of the list owner in the following manner:

	List Ownership: Each list must have at least one owner who is a
	faculty or staff member at the University of Notre Dame, and who
	will be designated the sponsor of the list.

	The list sponsor may authorize other individuals, including students
	and/or individuals who are not officially associated with the
	University, to act as owners, editors, or moderators of the list,
	and may delegate the role of "primary owner" to any other owner.

	The "primary owner" of a list is responsible for day-to-day
	monitoring and operation of the list. This includes, but is not
	limited to:
	* maintaining the list configuration;
	* adding and deleting subscribers;
	* serving as the initial point of contact for subscribers with
	  questions or problems; and,
	* dealing with social problems which may arise on the list.

Ultimately, the list sponsor is responsible for the list.
